New Establishment Locking Package, Retightenings, Grooming and Repairs for Sisterlocks™.
Women looking for a uniquely beautiful hairstyle are turning to Sisterlocks. The locks are created using a trademarked locking technique: a precision parting grid and a special tool that places the hair into its locking formation. Due to their thin size, they’re extremely versatile and can be styled almost as many ways as loose hair.
Though the installation process is long, the upkeep is minimal compared to loose natural or relaxed hair. All that’s needed is a retightening of the locs every 4-6 weeks, which you can learn to do on your own. Since Sisterlocks is a trademark company, only stylists who have been trained by a certified associate of Sisterlocks can legally install them.
Your hair doesn’t need to be long for you to try Sisterlocks; you only need at least two inches of hair to get started.
The Sisterlocks™ Package includes:
First Visit: The Consultation
During this session you and your Consultant will discuss your personal hair care history, your styling preferences and your lifestyle in order to determine if Sisterlocks™ is right for you. Consultations include 1-2 videos, overview of Sisterlocks™ including viewing photo galleries. You will also have “test locks” (8-12) put in your hair to see if they will hold, check sizes, amount of scalp showing, settle-in time, etc. This consultation is essential for both you and the Consultant, to ensure you get your Sisterlocks™ done in the most suitable way.
Second Visit: The Locking Session
Bring a good book/movie because the locking process can take from 20-28 hours or even longer in some cases. The average Sisterlocks™ customer will leave this session with an average of 320-400 locks. Your Consultant will provide you with a “Starter Kit” that includes the proper shampoo for starting your locks, tiny rubber bands and tip sheets on grooming and shampooing as your locks settle in. Be sure to schedule your follow-up visit before you leave. Good maintenance is the key to gorgeous Sisterlocks™ over time.
Third Visit: Follow-Up
You will need to schedule your follow–up visit after at least two shampooing, which is usually within a month from the time you first get your locks put in. Your Consultant will monitor the integrity of your locks, tighten them up and give you an idea of how long the settling-in process is likely to take. You can also begin discussing styling tips
Ongoing Retightening Visits
We recommend that you schedule your first few re-tightening visits at 4-5 week intervals. This way, the progress of your locks can be monitored. As your locks mature, your Consultant will be able to determine how often you will need to come in for retightenings. The average time between visits is 4-6 weeks, depending on the hair type and rate of hair growth.

These are fees for being late to appointments
At 15 minutes

If you make it before 15 minutes, you will not be charged. Once 15 minutes, an additional fee will be charged to your service.
At 30 minutes

30 minutes will be charged an additional fee of your services
After 35 minutes
If you are 35 minutes or more late, this will be considered a NO-SHOW and will be charged by the 1st or 2nd time NO-SHOW rule occurs.
