The day has finally arrived for you to sit with a Sisterlocks Consultant. Below are a few things you should do and know prior to your appointment.
1. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR ENTIRE HEAD OF HAIR is LOOSE (no braids, twist, etc), CLEAN AND FREE OF ALL PRODUCTS (no oils, gels, pudding, etc). DO NOT flat iron or blow dry your hair. A cluster of tester locks (6 to 9 locks) are installed to test the hair texture for a specific pattern. In order to provide you with correct pricing of a Sisterlocks establishment/installation, your hair MUST be in its natural virgin state. Those who choose to keep their relaxed ends to keep length, you too must follow the aforementioned procedure.
2. THE ENTIRE HEAD OF HAIR IS MEASURED. I emphasize this as some potential clients may ask “Well, can you just measure the back”? It can be done but who’s winning and who’s losing in this situation? For example. Some people's hair grows faster and longer in the back and on the sides. Let’s say your hair in the back is 10 inches. My Sisterlocks prices start at $650 for 4 inches and $100 per inch up to 10 inches. So we have $650 (4 inches) + $100 (5,6,7 add’t inches) = $300. That’s $950 not including density, hair texture, etc. I haven’t measured the front or the sides, which can be significantly shorter. It can also be longer. This puts both the client and the consultant in a position where one will feel they were shorted. Again, the ENTIRE HEAD OF HAIR MUST BE LOOSE/FREE……
3. COME WITH QUESTIONS. While some of us Sisterlocks Consultants have information available on our websites, there are always new things developing with our hair. PLEASE….ASK AWAY.
Your scheduled appointment time is for you and you alone. I cannot double book that time slot to make up for a cancelled appointment so please keep a few things in mind as we respect each other’s time:

*Prices vary based on density, texture and length of hair. Payment is required upon completion of same-day services. For services requiring multiple days (i.e. Sisterlocks/Brotherlocks), the balance is to be paid in two payments: half on the first day and the remaining half upon arrival of the 2nd day.
