APPOINTMENT GUIDELINES & WHAT TO EXPECT
At Taji Nzuri Locs by Katena our mission is to create a relaxing environment, provide exceptional service, and inspire our guests to look and feel their best. Even in these unforeseen circumstances, our mission is still the same. The measures we must take are not ideal. It will be a new normal for now that we will all have to get used to. We intend to do our best to ensure that you have an amazing experience to the best of our ability. We will be taking every precaution to provide the safest environment for each of our guests. We will be following local and state guidelines, CDC recommendations, and best practices identified by recognized beauty industry professionals.
Guests will NOT be permitted on the premises if they have COVID-19 symptoms. The following are things you need to know when you are getting services with Taji Nzuri Locs by Katena:
• All equipment used by a service provider will be sanitized between guests as well as all surfaces guests may have come in contact w/ such as salon chair, station, and restrooms
• Clean/sanitized capes for each guest. Capes are only used during install or maintenance sessions
• Doors and exits will be sanitized
• We must limit the total number of people present to the client and consultant only. For everyone’s safety, only the client is allowed to enter. Children, guests, or others are not permitted.
• If there is an overlap between the departure of one client and the arrival of another, you will be notified in advance and asked to remain in your car until the prior client has departed. We will contact you to let you know when you can enter.
• Each guest will be required to arrive at their scheduled appointment with a face mask that must be worn at all times. If you arrive without a mask, we will have one available for you for $2.00 while our supplies last.
§ If you are a guest that is unable to wear a mask for medical reasons, please wear a face shield. If there are other issues not covered in this document we ask that you call in advance & speak with us directly
• Before your service begins, you will be asked to either wash your hands or use hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizer will be provided or you may use the restroom to wash your hands.
• Upon arrival, you will be asked to have your temperature taken using a contact-free infrared forehead thermometer
We can all do our part to prevent the spread of illness in our community. You can help by staying home/rescheduling your appointment if you’re feeling sick. If you are healthy, we look forward to seeing you with your protective face mask!
